Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal a proposta de um novo conjunto de indicadores de desempenho (ID), sendo estes de resultado e de esforço, que serão utilizados para o fechamento do ciclo operacional de incêndios estruturais, cujas informações geradas possam contribuir para decisões estratégicas e técnicas do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina (CBMSC), balizando futuras ações para melhorias das atividades de prevenção e proteção na área de incêndios estruturais. Com referências aos aspectos metodológicos foram utilizadas, como fonte de dados, informações dos relatórios de investigações de incêndios, contidas no sistema informatizado de perícias. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto, foi apresentado um breve levantamento bibliográfico e explicado sucintamente a estrutura de investigação de incêndios no CBMSC. O método científico usado foi o indutivo e a abordagem foi a qualitativa e a quantitativa. Por fim, o autor apresentou um novo conjunto de ID que se baseia na quantidade de danos gerados em cada incêndio, sendo estes uma porcentagem da área no imóvel pelos danos causados pelo calor e fumaça do incêndio, onde qualquer alteração nas variáveis que levaram a ocorrência do incêndio resultará em alteração nos percentuais de danos.
