Descontaminação de artigos em um serviço de Atendimento Pré-Hospitalar do Corpo de Bombeiros

O presente trabalho buscou identificar como o serviço de Resgate do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar em Maceió-AL realiza descontaminação de artigos assépticos. Estudo de campo, observacional, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de um formulário de registro com 32 profissionais socorristas em um Grupamento de Socorros de Emergência. Na assepsia da viatura dos 16 profissionais observados 25,000% realizaram a descontaminação de artigos não-descartáveis. A medida de proteção para a assepsia se restringiu ao uso de luvas. Descontaminação de artigos de imobilização 75,000% dos profissionais realizaram a descontaminação, desses prevaleceu o uso de álcool a 70% com 41,667%. Espera-se que a corporação possa ter como base as informações descritas para o desenvolvimento de uma padronização bem como uma capacitação sobre biossegurança, a fim de melhorar a qualidade dos serviços prestados à população.
