Abstract

Eventos com grandes aglomerações são comuns na sociedade. Infelizmente, muitas vezes deparamos com acontecimentos catastróficos nestes eventos, que vitimam um grande número de pessoas. Uma gestão correta desse tipo de acontecimento pode contribuir para aumentar a segurança dos envolvidos. Para a sociedade, um gerenciamento eficiente pode, portanto, reduzir o número de vítimas desses tipos de acontecimento. Para as autoridades, isso significa, dentre outras possibilidades, que os profissionais atuantes não se tornarão vítimas e ainda poderão oferecer uma melhor resposta em caso de um incidente. Objetiva-se com este estudo levantar padrões comportamentais, individuais e coletivos, observados em eventos com aglomeração de pessoas quando transcorre, por algum motivo, uma situação de descontrole e pânico, que leva as pessoas a buscar uma saída daquele local. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica de forma descritiva, na qual foram levantados algumas características individuais e coletivas.
