Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo trazer conhecimento técnico e científico sobre a Fire Extinguisching Ball, também conhecida como bola corta fogo. É uma tecnologia desenvolvida na Alemanha e fabricada na Tailândia que está chamando a atenção de muitas pessoas. O Corpo de Bombeiros sendo uma instituição que trabalha com a prevenção e extinção de incêndios necessita a cada tempo o aperfeiçoamento de seus equipamentos e métodos de combate, e essa tecnologia vem ao encontro a essa necessidade. A implantação da Fire Extinguisching Ball pelo Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina como forma de prevenção de sinistro bem como na extinção de pequenos focos de incêndio se torna viável visto que é uma tecnologia já testada e aprovada por vários países e cada vez mais demonstra sua eficácia. É um método extintor que além de prevenir a propagação do fogo quando utilizado como sistema preventivo, elimina vários riscos ao combatente quando utilizado no combate direto.
