Abstract

A atividade de planejamento urbano adotou os sistemas de informações geográficas (SIG) como ferramenta primordial para a organização das áreas urbanas. A atividade de segurança contra incêndio (SCI), em seu ciclo completo, também deve ser vista como um dos temas do planejamento urbano, visto que o risco de incêndio existe em qualquer aglomeração urbana e suas consequências não podem ser consideradas isoladas em limites de propriedades privadas. Neste contexto, este artigo apresenta as utilidades que os SIG podem fornecer à atividade de SCI, considerando o uso dos resultados obtidos nas investigações de incêndios e explosões como atributos georreferenciados que possam ser utilizados na inclusão da fase agir do ciclo PDCA no ciclo operacional de SCI, contribuindo para a tomada de decisão necessária para a melhoria contínua do processo.

Bruno De César Toledo Camilo

2º Tenente do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina. Comandante do Pelotão de Bombeiros Militar de São João Batista e Perito em Incêndio e Explosão. Graduado e Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (2014 e 2016). Especialização em Gestão de Riscos e Eventos Críticos pelo Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina.
